Some New Pieces

So, I finally got around to playing with my light cube/tent/box that I bought in November.  Did a few set ups yesterday and looking forward to doing more as the ideas come in the future!  I'd like to hear which are your favorites!

Hot Chocolate Series-the first photo is the edited one, the second is the straight out of the camera version.







Red Rose series-This rose has been sitting in that vase since the end of October waiting for this day to come.  I still have it as I want to try a few more things with it in the future.



Red Wine Series-Just a start to my wine photo collection.  There's a few more things I'd love to try.  The first photos is a soft look, the second one is a sharpened one.




Once again, I'd love to hear which are your favorites---those will be the ones ending up on Etsy after all!  I'll also be working on redoing some of them for a better image!

    Love your new photos, special the ones, I love coffee and all that remember me that. I wish have a good camera and a light box to could do better photos.

    Congrats on the new Series ...

    Hot Chocolate: Love the cropped shot second from bottom. I can even see the yummy looking chocolate at the bottom of the glass!

    Red Rose: Bottom photo is my fav. The detail on the petals jumps out, even the subtle color variation. It's SO cool that you've been holding on to that rose since October!

    Red Wine: I like the last cropped pic, and definitely favor the sharpest image. I'm drawn to that crisp/clean appearance of the glass ... crisp like the wine ;-)

    You've created three beautiful, new Series, and everybody is attracted to chocolate, roses and wine!!!

    Nice post!

    May I suggest a little more light for the lightbox ? The photographs would be, imho, quite a little better... Not that they are not good as they are, mind you :)

    the cocoa: I like the 1st pictures they are cleaner and the colors are clear and defined.
    The wine glass: I like the sharper image because it is just that, sharper. It looked like I could have held the glass and sipped the wine.

    The first hot chocolate photo is great. Why is the camera photo so yellow toned -- Is the picture taken with a flash?

    I like the rose close up and the edited hot chocolate...the first one.

    I have a tent but haven't had much success with it so put it away. I have a better camera now so should probably haul it out and try again.
