Dell Cove Spice Company

Today, I would like to do a feature on a shop that snatched up the first Product Photography listing I had up.  It's been fun working with their product  and great to see a very happy customer!  I asked Dell Cove Spice Company to share a little bit about themselves...

Our shop name came about as an inside joke, but it somehow fit with our love of the ocean and our passion for cooking. We also are kind of picky (understatement) about sourcing our ingredients from around the world, from producers of sea salts in Hawaii to the richest Vietnamese cinnamon we can find.

We also hand-mix our spice blends and popcorn toppings, and make them in small batches. (If you don't, you don't get the same freshness.)
My husband started up the shop last fall as a way to do something with his free time when our jobs forced us to temporarily live in two different cities (he's in the Midwest, I'm on the West Coast). I started helping him out with ideas, and was drawn to the online community here on Etsy.
Part of the reason he did it was to help pay for the cost of plane tickets to fly back and forth, so we could see one another.

But then, we both found it to be a blast. We both love to cook and were always finding out of the way places with interesting restaurants, rural food auctions, unusual grocery stores, etc. We both have friends and family that are somehow tied to food and agriculture.
And then, a number of friends started talking about how they were entertaining at home, cooking at home, and were hungry for new ways to spice up their cooking.

So...spices. And that led to us both looking around and realizing that we just wanted to make stuff that we enjoyed eating ourselves. So far, it seems to be working!

Please head over to Dell Cove Spice Company and check out their many great products!

I just received Dell's popcorn kit with three spices--haven't tried it yet as trying to hold off until Easter for the boys. Also just purchased their striking sugar crystals. Cocktails anyone?

Thanks all! And let me tell you, Crystal is FANTASTIC to work with! I mean...look at the photos! She's super patient and it's made such a difference. I would recommend having Crystal do this work for everyone -- especially folks who, like us, don't sell a lot of OOAK goods.

Michelle -- your curry kit was shipped Monday. So if you don't get it by Friday, send us a convo and we'll try to track it down!
